Jewel is a chesnut thoroughbred mare. Is standing at 15hh but will finish at a solid 15.1hh. Never raced, compeletely papered with exceptional breeding. Will be four at the end of March.
Jewel is now walk, trot and cantering on the buckle. Has started over small fences. Doesn't even hesitate to pop up and over. Has a lovely ground covering trot and a to-die-for canter. Easily moves off the leg..quite willing to go forward. Is still "wiggly" with her stearing but complete breaks at the mention of "whoa" or the simplest of touch of the reins she comes right back.
She is all up-to date on farrier and vet. Excellent, excellent feet! She baths, clips, ties, and trailers like a dream. Has been to two new places and simply walked off the trailer and was like "cool". Is currently recovering from a case of rain rot. Completely healed and fur is well more than grown back in!
There is no spook in this litle girl. She's easy to handle. My mom who is not a horse person even leads her! She's super, super quiet. She loves to be handled and cuddled with and fussed over. She's extremely gentle. Can be turned out in a group or by herself. She just doesn't care.
I need her gooooooonnnnnnnnnnne!!
